Accordingly, the signing ceremony of a bilateral cooperation agreement between the two sides took place on the morning of November 13, 2023, at the Anaheim International Convention Center (Los Angeles, USA).

On behalf of the two associations, Dr. Lawyer Doan Van Binh representing VNREA and Ms. Tracy Kasper representing NAR, signed a bilateral cooperation agreement in the presence of members of both sides and Mr. Yoshi Takita.

Accordingly, the purpose of this cooperation agreement is to promote both parties to promulgate and enforce mutually acceptable codes of ethics as well as promote and enforce high standards of professionalism in the real estate industry; to find the way to create favorable conditions for business opportunities for members of both sides to enable to work in each other’s markets; to exchange information on the current real estate market, procedures on real estate, laws and regulations on licensing , taxes and foreign investment as well as related events; to initiate and organize trade missions as well as networking opportunities between members of the both sides to participate in bilateral cooperation; to coordinate and promote products, services and courses offered by the respective bilateral cooperation sides.

The signing agreements also clearly stipulate that the parties participating in bilateral cooperation agree to regularly exchange and update their relevant information, their members and real estate business activities in the respective countries in order to create favorable conditions for members of the parties participating in bilateral cooperation to understand each other’s respective markets.

The parties agree to reasonably promote and facilitate “trade missions” or visits of their members to the other party’s country to meet with real estate professionals for exchanging market information, products, programs and services, and “study tours” or visits of members from other parties to the their country to study specific aspects of the real estate market.  Joint efforts will be made to coordinate trade delegations and study tours before, after, or in conjunction with the VNREA and NAR Annual Meetings.

In addition to signing a bilateral cooperation agreement, the leadership of the Vietnam Real Estate Association also signed a training agreement, a MOU and donated books to the NAR’s Library.
