CEO Group conquers the “roof of Indochina”.

To solve the unprecedented challenges ahead, more than ever, CEO Group needs its own path with a corporate culture foundation: One CEO Group, One Family, One team.

On the eve of its 24th birthday, turning 25, with the country’s “once in a thousand years” opportunity, but the challenges are also enormous.

To solve the unprecedented challenges ahead, more than ever, CEO Group needs its own path with a corporate culture foundation: One CEO Group, One Family, One team.

Fansipan was chosen to test that culture.

Day 1: 10:30 pm, sleeper bus departs from CEO Tower towards the City in the Mist.

Day 2: Arrive in Sa Pa at 4 am. The group rests, changes clothes, has breakfast and moves to the Fansipan climbing location.

The morning route was moderate with few steep slopes. The group stopped for lunch at the 2,100m rest stop.

At 10 minutes to 12, the group set off on a much more difficult hike with many passes, steep uphills and steep downhills. Many slopes required climbing steep, slippery iron ladders.

The difficult afternoon of the second day ended at the 2,800m station. It was 5 degrees Celsius at night. No hot water. No phone signal. No electricity. No pillows. Each person was given a headlamp.

After dinner at 6:00 p.m., the group went to sleep to wake up at 5:00 a.m. The next morning. But if you don’t go to bed early, there’s nothing to do in this freezing cold forest. The low temperature and high humidity make people feel cold. Luckily, each member received a sleeping bag. Each room has 4 people separated by a wooden partition as high as the wall, open at the top. Someone whispering in the next room could also be heard. Thanks to the lack of phone signal, everyone had space and time to connect happily.

Day 3: After a cold night of fitful sleep with the loud sound of a torrential downpour, we climbed out of bed with haggard faces due to lack of sleep, did our personal hygiene carelessly, put on warm clothes with heat pads, ate instant noodles with fried eggs, drank ginger tea, then quickly put on raincoats, and put flashlights on our heads.

It was early morning, 7 degrees Celsius outside, foggy, and the rain had not stopped yet.

At exactly 6 o’clock, the whole team gathered and shouted in unison: 1,2,3 CEO; 1,2,3 Overcome challenges; 1,2,3 Reach the top. I encouraged my teammates to get in the spirit: Someone once said that the things we see in front, behind, left, right of us are nothing compared to what is inside us. Human vision and will are always higher than all tangible material things. When we conquer Fansipan peak, we stand higher than it. The whole team excitedly clapped their hands, perhaps waking up the most sleeping birds in this forest. Sorry!

Dr. Lawyer Doan Van Binh, Vice President of Vietnam Real Estate Association, Chairman of CEO Group (Red Shirt).

After 2 days of strong people supporting weaker people, hand in hand up and down slopes, wading across streams in the mountains and forests, and God adding more difficulty with rain, wind, and cold, together as “one team”, we “reached the top” at 8:52 am, October 21, 2025 with the feeling of conquering the peak.

The luckiest thing is that no one was injured. Everyone is healthy.

I believe that this “One CEO Group, One Family, One team” experience will accompany us on the path of sustainable development but at a faster pace in the New Era.

This article is a thank you to the whole team, to the connector and experienced hiker

Nguyen Thi Tinh, to the guide group, the support group and a message to all CEO Group staff: As a team, we can overcome challenges and reach new heights!
