The Working Group conducted on-site surveys at the key Sonasea Van Don Harbor City project.

The Working Group, led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien – Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, held a meeting with the Van Don Special Economic Zone Party Committee to exchange and assess the development situation and orientation for the coming period. Following the meeting, the group conducted on-site surveys of several key projects in the area, including the Sonasea Van Don Harbor City resort complex, invested and developed by CEO Group.

During the survey, the delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the scale of the project, the planning vision, the implementation progress, and the sustainable development orientation of Sonasea Van Don. The project is identified as a key highlight in the development of modern urban and tourism areas, and will play a driving role in promoting high-end tourism, services, and the marine economy of the Van Don Special Economic Zone in the coming period.

Through the working activities and on-site surveys, the Central Government delegation gained a comprehensive and practical understanding of the implementation, providing a basis for research and improvement of appropriate mechanisms and policies. This is also an important prerequisite for key projects like Sonasea Van Don to continue to be effective, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development goals of the Van Don Special Economic Zone.
